Senior School (Year 7): Three papers – English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning, plus an interview. Sixth Form: Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 6 or above, with Grade 7 or above in subjects to be studied at A Level (Grade 7 required in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Languages).

Boarding & pastoral

Boarding type: Day

Dining: Cashless catering system (linked to Parent Pay) for Senior, Infant and Junior pupils. Standard daily lunch charge £3.85 for Seniors and £3.46 for Infants and Juniors. School also offers breakfast items to Senior School pupils. School lunches are not compulsory but packed lunches should be eaten in the Dining Hall.

Pastoral care: BGS offers an inclusive education, health care, healthy eating provision, parent resources, pupil support and safeguarding. After-school provision for Senior pupils is open until 5pm free of charge. Wrap-around care (Breakfast & After School Club) is available for Infant and Junior pupils.
