Entrance requirements

Girls are assessed via ISEB Common Pre-Test (or alternative adaptive test at Downe House for day pupils), an Assessment Day (drama, design technology, team building, creative writing, interview with Headmistress), and a report from the current Headteacher. Offers made by end of December. 13+ candidates also sit Common Entrance in June of Year 8 for setting purposes only. Academic Scholarship papers sat in the Lent Term prior to entry.
