Candidates sit entry assessments; an Entry Assessment Fee is required (£150 for UK applicants, £200 for overseas applicants). Entry points are 4+, 7+, 11+, and 16+, with occasional places available in selected year groups.

Boarding & pastoral

Boarding type: Day

Dining: Lunches available at £1,275 per year for Lower and Senior School (billed termly); £1,080 per year for First School. Students in Senior School may alternatively bring a packed lunch (£15 per term).

Pastoral care: The school has two form tutors per form class providing individual support for every pupil. Year 13 form assistants, Year 8 buddies for Year 7 students, and trained Sixth Form Peer Mentors are available. Two part-time school counsellors cover 7 days over the school week, working closely with the Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing, Medical Centre staff, and wider pastoral teams. Individual, regular meetings with tutors and a comprehensive Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Policy are in place.
