Entrance requirements
Boys sit the ISEB Common Pre-Tests in Year 6. Radley List boys (registered before age 4) are guaranteed an interview in the Michaelmas Term of Year 6; Open Entry boys are shortlisted after pre-tests and invited for interview in the Lent Term of Year 6. Places are offered in March of Year 6. Year 8 assessment options include Academic Scholarship exams, Common Entrance, Prep School Baccalaureate, school summer exams, or Radley Maths & English papers. Sixth Form entry deadline is 31 October of Year 11, with assessment days in December.

Pastoral care: Boys are housed in Socials (boarding houses) each led by a Tutor (Housemaster). The school emphasises kindness, pastoral care, and knowing each boy as an individual. All financial assistance is means-tested and bursaries can be worth up to 115% of fees.
