Entrance requirements

Year 7 (11+): Entrance tests in English and mathematics, plus a taster day. Years 8–10: Entrance tests in English and mathematics (or EAL). Wychwood Sixth (16+): Minimum 6 GCSE passes at grade 9–4 with 9–6 in chosen A Level subjects; tested in three of four chosen A Level subjects.

Boarding & pastoral

Boarding type: Full, Weekly

Pastoral care: Every pupil has a form tutor who cares for both emotional and intellectual development. Pupils in Year 8 and above are allocated a progress tutor. Houseparents are the first point of contact in the boarding houses, supported by assistants and the medical team. A Medical Administrator co-ordinates all medical requirements; a School Counsellor and Independent Person are also available.
